Breakthroughs: Revealing the Mysteries of the Mind and Brain

Breakthroughs: Revealing the Mysteries of the Mind and Brain is an event introducing the new Gray Matters Fellows and their research projects. Thanks to the generous support of the Gray Matters community, the fellows are able to advance their research on the causes and cures of brain disorders.

On October 3, 2019, Jeffrey A. Lieberman, MD, Lawrence C. Kolb Professor and Chairman, Department of Psychiatry, welcomed Gray Matters supporters and introduced the 2019-2020 Gray Matters at Columbia Fellows: Maura Boldrini, MD, PhD, Maya Sabatello, LLB, PhD, and Annika Sweetland, DrPH, MSW. Following the introduction, a panel discussion on genetics, mood, and anxiety was held highlighting the work of the Gray Matters Fellows and Columbia’s Department of Psychiatry.
